I’m a Chinese American who believes that design and technology should empower people to live their lives better. I use she/her pronouns. My friends would describe me as kind, warm hearted, and easy to communicate with.
My passion is to create effective and intuitive interfaces that can provide a joyful user experience for people.
I believe in user-centered design principles, and base design decisions on user needs and business goals.
The tool of choice does not matter. The results are what matters.
I began my career using Adobe products. Since then, I have pushed myself to learn as many tools as possible without being cynical or dismissive of a new tool that can potentially change my workflow for the better. As my mentors have always told me, "the early bird gets the worm". I don't headline read and talk about new tools, I actually struggle through and learn each one.
A great book is like a window into an author's mind.
During the past two years I have read over 30 books. Whether it’s an audio book or sitting down to read,
I find it cathartic to gain knowledge through someone else’s documented experiences.
